All intuitions are only partially correct, or occasionally correct, until one reaches a landmark state in sadhana. This is absolute reality. I have met people with good to excellent intuitive powers, and yet none is perfect. Not even the most advanced intuitive people – who might tell you what breakfast you ate days ago or you are going to eat days later – AND Yet, not 100% perfect, 100% times. Never.
Because it is LAW of nature. You will almost NEVER have ENDLESS perfect intuition. If it works 70% times, objectively measured, that is good enough.
Which is precisely why Jyotisha becomes the eye of the Veda-s and vedanga!
Understanding this means when you see an intuition turning wrong, mentally drop it and move on. But people cannot do that. They get attached to it and somehow want to believe it will turn right – and one that is not to be, will not be. One greatest advise in sadhana is to know when to take a U turn and move on. And this is true even if in some cases there could be sporadic, fantastic intuitive knowledge, impossibly accurate, still the very next one could be a mistake or error. Once identified by real verification, then move on. There is no other solution to all this. That way one goes deeper and higher and greater stuff is revealed by Nature.
When I ask someone to do xyz upasana and then mail me after so many days, and the guy has no patience and even before 24 hours is over he keeps dropping mails after mails, that is a mark of desperation and in some cases a false belief that only speed is enough for progress.
More than speed, direction is of greater importance.
To get the right direction of sadhana, even with best guidance, will finally need blessings of Mahakala. Until the right time, more you struggle and run, more you fall and hurt yourself. Nature is ruthless. No pleading, begging, threatening, trickery will work with Her. If a progress is destined at the current karmic momentum to happen after 10 years, if will not come in 10 days regardless of whatever you do. So develop patience. Yes, if you stop practicing, than 10 years can become 10 lifetimes.. or more.
So whenever I see someone running too fast but no sense of direction where they are heading really, I know a fall will come and shock the hell out of them. Develop patience. Develop the capacity to do the a well formulated, and sufficient sadhana, for days and days, months and months, years and years, decades and decades, expecting nothing, but without error or loss of process/vidhi, or violation of sadhana, or loss of interest. And assuming it is the right process. Then magic happens.
Such a one is mahapurusha destined for greatest heights.
When the correct direction is arrived at, it changes the aura of the upasaka immediately. But if right direction is not yet coming, then develop patience. Mahakala does not allow short cuts. Ask less, practice more. Don’t allow the mind to trick you into sloth and paralysis.
