SUNDAY GRAHAN This Sunday (21st September’25), there is a surya grahan which is not visible in India. However all grahans even those not visible to us have a strong spiritual impact and can be used for sadhana. Just that when not visible rules of sutak do not apply. This grahan combined with the earlier chandra grahan surrounding the pitru paksa, has activated many old pitru related issues and karmas for the world. Surya will be in the sign of Kanya along with Chandra in Uttaraphalguni naksatra, while Ketu will be in Simha in Purva Phalguni Naksatra. The grahan starts at 10.59 PM IST on 21st September, peaks at 1:11 am IST on 22nd September and ends at 3.23 AM IST. Since it is a Surya Grahan, the day of week is Sunday and the rising sign at that time has Brhaspati in Punarvasu, this grahan kala is ideal for upasana of Bhairava or Tara. You can do any of the following sadhanas. 1. Chant the Bhairava naam mantra 108 malas with a chaturmukhi diya dhoop. (ॐ भैरवाय नमः) 2. Batuka Bhairava mantra 64 malas with diya and bhog offering which can be consumed later on. (ॐ ह्रीं बटुकाय आपदुद्धारणाय कुरु कुरु बटुकाय ह्रीं) 3. Simple Ma Tara mantra 36 malas, then chant the Nila saraswati stuti 11 times. Light a diya and dhoop. ( ॐ ह्रीं उग्रतारायै नीलसरस्वत्यै नमः) During eclipse the energy is very peak. In this grahan one can pray for any one genuine dharmic desire. Could be for health, finance, job etc. It must be genuine and within bounds of dharma. Write it down in a piece of paper as clearly as possible like a letter to devata whose sadhana you want to do and then fold and keep infront, and start the grahan sadhana. Afterwards, fold the paper and keep somewhere so that no one can see or read it again, including yourself. Go about your normal life and check how things turn out in a period of 3 months from the sadhana date with respect to the specific wish. Remember it must be genuine. Later on feed someone or donate to any annadanam and also offer a puja in any devi or Shiva temple, depending on whether you did Tara or Bhairava sadhana.
